  6. fMSX Amiga is an Amiga port of fMSX UNIX. It emulates the MSX computer
  7. system. The emulation requires an 68020 and the v36 OS (or better). Fastram
  8. is not required but essential for good performance.

  10. Depending on the task at hand it is about as fast as a real MSX on my
  11. a4000/30, sometimes even a tad faster.

  13. This is a complete emulation of an MSX1 computer, but the final goal for
  14. fMSX is to emulate an MSX2 machine. For this reason I still number it v0.8
  15. instead of v1.0.

  17. In this version, many MSX2 features are supported, and some MSX2 games
  18. (though not all) are in fact playable: Metal Gear, Firebird, Vampire Killer
  19. and Kings Valley 2 MSX2 fall in this category.

  21. New features in this release include support for two joysticks, better
  22. Z80 emulation, greater speed, less bugs (the 'Konami-bug' is gone!) and
  23. small improvements to the user interface.
